Welcome!

I’m Adina, a multidisciplinary practitioner, facilitator, therapist, coach, teacher and entrepreneur. I’m driven by a commitment to help others build rich, vibrant and sustainable tapestries of life, livelihood and community, anchored in ancestral wisdom and values.

On this journey I’ve taken big leaps. For over a decade I rose up through an exciting, successful career in the field of international economic and community development, working in twenty countries in sectors ranging from horticulture to hospitality to post-conflict recovery. I worked myself into the ground to prove my worth, with no concept of how to rest, relax, or enjoy life. I juggled addictions, avoided real relationships, and cultivated a facade of success and happiness to mask what was happening inside.

In my mid-30’s, burned out and craving deeper purpose, I left my full-time consulting career and began to transform.

Slowly, with the guidance of yoga and meditation teachers and healing arts practitioners, I began to decompress and revive.

I built and ultimately closed down a successful but extraordinarily challenging business, and started and failed to launch a non-profit. I wrote a novel that never got published. I began teaching yoga.

As I stripped away the veneer of success and accomplishment I uncovered a true identity—and began to experience real happiness. It took deep inner work and guidance from powerful teachers, healers, and coaches every step of the way.

In 2018, my little family relocated from Brooklyn, NY to the Hudson Valley of Upstate New York, where we cultivate and harvest much of our own food and run a small business, Hany’s Harvest, making consciously crafted wellness tonics. We acknowledge with deep reverence and gratitude the Mohican ancestors who stewarded this land before us as we work to expand our farming operation through regenerative practices.

My practice with clients integrates Transformational Coaching (as a certified Applied Depths coach) and Yoga Therapy. I recently continued my formal training, completing my Master’s of Mental Health Counseling and began practicing as a psychotherapist in 2022, integrating this with the other modalities I work with in a holistic, accessible manner.*

Along the way I have also been certified in and taught Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Pre-natal yoga; Yoga for 12-Step recovery; and mindfulness-based meditation. I pass on these practices with discernment and deep reverence for the lineages from which they have been received.

Through these various paths and lineages I’ve received the tools and practices to guide others through big life changes with courage, integrity and grace.

A relentless seeker and wisdom keeper, I come from generations of devotion to progressive Judaism, interfaith peace building, and social justice leadership, and am a student of a constellation of teachers who guide me to live into my values, deepen my inner work, and transmit what they’ve taught through my own offerings. I am deeply immersed in my own personal and ancestral healing work, and am deeply grateful to the multiple teachers who guide me through it.

When I’m not working with inspiring people you’ll find me gardening, cooking, hiking, cycling, playing with clay, and exploring my abundantly beautiful neck of the woods and far beyond with my amazing adventure partner and our growing family.
